GLOWJet<\/strong> this material is based on PLA and contains phosphorescent pigments. Glows after being charged with any type of light.<\/p>\n

PLA – so-called starting material for 3D printing<\/strong><\/p>\n

PLA\u00a0<\/strong>(polylactic acid)<\/em>
\n–\u00a0easy to print material
\n–\u00a0is suitable for printing large objects
\n–\u00a0is made from corn starch and biodegradable<\/a>
\n–\u00a0is suitable for beginners, as printing from it is trouble-free
\n–\u00a0PLA prints are not ideal for outdoor use (low-temperature resistance, low UV resistance)<\/p>\n

PRINTING SETUP<\/strong>
\nNozzle:\u00a0200 – 220\u00b0C
\nHeatbed:\u00a060 \u00b0C
\nFor colors with glitters, we recommend a nozzle of 0.5 mm and larger.<\/p>\n

ADVANTAGES:
\n\u2705 easy to print
\n\u2705 can print tiny parts
\n\u2705 can print huge objects
\n\u2705 hard and tough
\n\u2705 no warping<\/p>\n

DISADVANTAGES:
\n\u274c brittle
\n\u274c low-temperature resistance
\n\u274c difficult post-processing<\/p>\n

COMPARISON OF ABS AND PLA<\/strong>
\nPLA\u00a0is easier and faster to process under the same initial conditions, but its products are significantly less resistant to higher temperatures (it starts to soften around 60 \u00baC, while\u00a0ABS\u00a0up to 90 \u00baC).\u00a0So\u00a0if you expect higher temperatures for the final product, then\u00a0ABS\u00a0is a better choice.\u00a0ABS\u00a0prints are mostly matte,\u00a0PLA\u00a0prints are rather glossy.\u00a0PLA\u00a0material is biodegradable<\/a>, while\u00a0ABS\u00a0material is not, but can be recycled.\u00a0PLA\u00a0is more suitable for use in the food industry (*without certification, as the certification, would lose its validity the moment the filament passes through the nozzle).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
